The festivities have begun - the crowds at the Kingsmead were thoroughly entertained when Sehwag, Gambhir and Yuvraj took the English bowlers to the cleaners.
Sehwag (68) and Gambhir (58) set the foundation - an opening partnership of 136. Both openers scored half-centuries. Yuvraj Singh came to the wicket at the start of the 17th over to begin the fireworks.
Yuvraj Singh scored a record 12-ball fifty and did a Gibbs when he smacked fast bowler Broad for 6 consecutive sixes to give India the best total of the tournament. Sehwag and Gambhir scored 50s to set it up.
Earlier, In a crunch game for Team India, Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and elected to bat. India has to win the match to stay in the tournament. England, who are already out of the tournament will be playing for pride.
India have made two changes to their side - Joginder Sharma in place of Ajit Agarkar and Rohit Sharma comes in for Dinesh Karthik. England have fielded in fast bowler Chris Tremlett in place of leg spinner Schofield.
